Bio
Why we play music:
For the love of it. Because we’re hungry. To make people happy and dance. To make all the pretty girls cry. Because we’re high. Because we’re low. Because we’re drunk or ascetic. Because we can’t in good conscience do anything else.
Bio
Here is some fake 3rd person:
Paul Chesne (born June 4, 1976) is an American country & soul singer-songwriter and guitarist.
He has traveled throughout the United States and played well over 1000 shows since 1999 including cutting his teeth playing upwards of 150 times at the infamous Kibitz Room in Canter's Deli.
He has written over 200 songs and released 3 full length albums and an EP featuring (here comes some name dropping):
Dave Roe (Johnny Cash, Dwight Yoakam, Louvin Brothers), Mitch Marine (Smash Mouth, Dwight Yoakam, Tripping Daisy), Keith Gattis (Dwight Yoakam), Skip Edwards (Dwight Yoakam, Keith Richards, Norah Jones, Lucinda Williams), The Webb Sisters (Leonard Cohen), Elvis Perkins and Willie Chambers of The Chambers Brothers.
His lyrics range from the whimsical, political and humorous to the dark and poetic.
The current backing band includes members of Rick Rubin's American Recordings former signed act "The Vacation" featuring Eric "Dutch" Suoninen (guitar), Jon Niemann (keyboards & Wurlitzer piano), Stephen Tegel (bass) and Paxton Pryor (drums).
The cover of the 2005 release "Wet Dog Man" features a painting by noted guerrilla political artist Robbie Conal.
