Who we are
BRANDON SOICHET-MASON, FOUNDER & CEO
JuxMusic is the brainchild of Brandon Soichet-Mason’s entrepreneurial vision for a business that elevates the synergy of music and moving images juxtaposed.
He founded the company in June of 2011 after recognizing that one major effect of the record industry’s decline was that a tremendous amount of great music was still being created but going unheard. The opportunity soon became obvious to him: select the best music out there and place it in mediums that have a stronger hold on the public’s attention. The result of this matchmaking will enhance the evocative power of directors' visions and propel the careers of artists who deserve greater notoriety.
He is the curator of the JuxMusic Collection and leads the company’s business development strategy.
Brandon is also an established record producer / mixer / engineer and music supervisor with RIAA Gold and Platinum-selling album and film soundtrack releases to his credit. Recent noteworthy releases include:
Film soundtrack for The Tempest by Elliot Goldenthal (Zarathustra Music)
You Can Do Anything by The Zutons (Sony Music)
Secret Machines self-titled album (Warner Bros/TSM Recordings)
Grammy-nominated Across the Universe film soundtrack (Interscope)
Family Man by Shooter Jennings (eOne Records)
Forthcoming single "Hot Knife" by Fiona Apple (Epic)
